I wasn't feeling well, again and I knew something was wrong. Of course, we all did. We had scans showing the tumor and necrosis size growing. Surgery again was an option, but we were trying to control it with the steriods, which i despise. Anyway, we had brain surgery on March 2nd and everything went great. I have no paralysis on my left side. I'm able to talk, walk, communicate and do anything else I want to do, which is ALL GOD!!!. My doctor was able to get everything he could see. I go to his office today, so I'm hoping to see some pics of my brain and where he was able to take the tumor out.
Now, it's just doing the normal getting over surgery stuff....resting, etc.
I do have a request. I would love it if you all could join me specifically for prayer in my next steps. I've felt for a while like I'm just kind of "stuck" and don't know what direction God wants me to go or what He wants me to do. I only know one thing....is that I want to serve Him wholeheartedly. I don't know what that means could use some prayer and discernment as to where God is leading me and what He wants me to do. After everything I've been through, there has to be a reason why He hasn't taken me home yet and I'm making myself available for whatever that may be. Thanks for reading and taking the time to pray. It means sooooooooooo much!

just a little short update on miss sarah beth. we went for a visit yesterday afternoon. she was doing pretty well! weak still, but good. she's up walking a little (with some help), smiling (important!), keeping up with all the different conversations going on around her with those of us sitting in her room (no small thing), and remaining hopeful. and always, always, trusting in God's care for her. she is so grateful for all of the prayers said for her. and honestly, i don't even think we know the half of it - SO many people who love her and care for her...people we've never met. people who don't know her personally, yet love her just the same. continue to pray as she continues to recover, and as she begins chemotherapy in a few weeks. we appreciate you all so very much. leigh ann

greg and i took our boys for a little visit with sarah beth last night, so they could lay eyes on her and know she was okay. she was doing great! in bed but mostly in a sitting position, eating a little bit, talking a little and smiling and watching wheel of fortune. =) she really is miles ahead of where she was by this time after her first brain surgery. kate said she had a hard night - was in a lot of pain and had a hard time getting it under control. they finally got enough meds in her to help and to settle her so she could sleep. so she's a little out of it today, but that's ok. her body needs the rest. we all remain so thankful for all of the prayers being raised to God on her behalf. she is precious to us and to so many others. thank you so much! leigh ann
